To me, Flowers are Happiness
The most beautiful bouquet of flowers has always adorned the centre of my childhood kitchen table. These timeless blooms were, and still are to this day, a weekly gift from my hopelessly romantic Dad to my beloved Mum.
This cherished floral tradition is the very essence of what I aim to create for you, because, to me, flowers symbolize happiness.
As a qualified Design Engineer, attention to detail has always been paramount in my work. In a peculiar way, I find joy in disassembling real flowers, delicately plucking each petal, and understanding their intricate construction. This peculiar habit serves a purpose – when I handcraft your flowers, I can visualize and construct them with even greater precision.
For me, flowers embody happiness not only because I have the privilege of creating them for you, a craft I am wholeheartedly passionate about, but also because they become a lasting keepsake of your special day. What could be more beautiful than preserving the memory of your day of happiness through these meticulously crafted, everlasting blooms?
Claire de Lune Cake Design
Named after one of my favourite flowers - the peony - as well as my first name, and inspired by the romantic music of Debussy, Claire de Lune translates to "Moonlight" in French. When I began crafting my flowers, it was always during those quiet moments after the kids were tucked into bed. This name beautifully encapsulates the essence of Claire de Lune."
